WELCOME TO "PARKER'S TEAM"
Central Valley Cycling Charitable Association (CVCCA) was created to allow local cyclists to combine their love of cycling with their passion for helping others. By recruiting and training new members to ride a 100-mile bicycle ride (also known as a 'century'), and organizing and promoting fundraising events, CVCCA raises funds for charities selected by the group.
CVCCA is also known as Parker's Team. Parker, a leukemia patient and bone marrow transplant recipient, is our inspiration.
We are a qualified non-profit organization which has a tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Tax ID# 91-2164770. You can download our tax exempt determination letter under the quick links on this page.
WHAT WE DO
The members of CVCCA combine their love of cycling with their passion for helping others. By recruiting and training new members, and organizing and promoting fundraising events, CVCCA raises funds for charity.
New members are required to meet a ONE-TIME individual fundraising goal. 100% of the funds raised by the new members go directly to charity. These new members are, in turn, trained by an experienced coaching staff to ride a 100-mile bicycle ride. Fundraising support is provided by an alumni group that have all "been there, done that."
Alumni contribute by assisting with group fundraising events such as our Annual Dinner & Silent Auction, Valley Girls Ride, and other fundraising events.
